Humans are made up of a body, a mind, and a spirit. It is impossible for one to be hurt without affecting the others. If one is in physical pain then one is likely to be grumpy. If one is searching spiritually then one is likely to feel lost. If one experiences emotional trauma then one is likely to experience physical pain as well.

Body, mind, and spirit affect each other and yet each healing path is limited. Talk therapy often doesn't succeed in healing the physical effects of trauma. Bodywork often brings up emotions without providing support to process them. Energy medicine can create changes too quickly to be maintained. It is important to combine all three healing paths in order to provide healing for the entire person: body, mind, and spirit.
